Therapy for anxiety, ADHD, and making sense of your past

Lumora Counseling is a space where you can slow down, feel seen, and begin to understand what you have been carrying.

Together, we move at a pace that feels safe. We create space to notice patterns, work through what has been weighing on you, and reconnect with yourself.

You might be here if...

Holding it together on the outside

You keep it together on the outside, but your mind doesn’t slow down.

You replay conversations or feel responsible for how others feel.

Patterns that keep repeating

You find yourself in similar situations or relationships, even when you’re trying to do things differently.

You’ve learned to push your needs aside or not take up too much space.

A sense that something feels off

You’ve always felt a bit out of sync and are wondering if ADHD could be part of it.
You want to feel more steady, clear, and like yourself again.

I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns, carry a lot internally, and are beginning to question whether ADHD may be part of it, especially those who may have been overlooked or misunderstood growing up.

Working Together

We start by slowing things down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface.

A lot of what we look at are patterns. The ones that started early, made sense at the time, and are still showing up now even when they no longer feel helpful. Instead of trying to get rid of them, we get curious about them.

Some sessions are practical. We focus on what helps you feel more steady day to day. Other times, we go deeper into past experiences, attachment, or the parts of you that had to grow up a certain way to get through.

I use approaches like EMDR, parts work, somatic work, and CBT, but I am not rigid about it. I pay attention to what actually fits you and adjust as we go.

You do not need the right words or a clear starting point. We can figure that out together.

About Lumora Counseling

Lumora Counseling is a space where you can begin to make sense of what has been feeling confusing, heavy, or difficult to put into words.

The name Lumora is rooted in the Latin word lumen, meaning “light.” There are moments in life when things can feel unclear or difficult to navigate. Therapy can help bring a sense of light back into those spaces by helping things feel more understandable, grounded, and manageable over time.

This work is not about rushing to fix things, but about staying with what is there long enough to understand it. Over time, things that once felt tangled or difficult to name can begin to come into clearer view.

Growth does not have to be rushed or forced.

It can be steady, intentional, and at a pace that actually feels manageable.
