Palm Leaves Shadows

Make sense of your attention, overwhelm, and the “why is this so hard?” part.

ADHD Evaluations for Adults

You might find yourself wondering…

Why do small tasks feel so heavy?

How am I functioning on the outside while internally feeling exhausted all the time?

Is this ADHD, burnout, anxiety, or some combination I cannot quite make sense of?

Why does it feel so hard to stay organized, focused, or consistent no matter how hard I try?

If this resonates, you’re not failing.

Where things start to click

Many adults who seek an ADHD evaluation are people who have been working very hard for a long time just to keep up.

Feeling overwhelmed is often a sign of how much effort you’ve been putting in, not a sign that you’re doing something wrong.

This process is about stepping back and looking at the bigger picture of how attention, organization, follow-through, and emotional load have shown up over time.

I provide neurodiversity-affirming care and spend time understanding how things have actually felt in your day-to-day life, not just how they may appear from the outside.

As someone diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I understand how easily adults can be overlooked, misunderstood, or left feeling like their struggles never fully fit into a clear explanation.

This process is not about labeling or pathologizing you. It is about understanding patterns, connecting the dots, and helping things make more sense with greater clarity and less self-blame.

My Approach

What the Process Looks Like

01

Initial Consultation

We begin with a 15 minute consultation to talk through what has been going on, what you have been noticing, and whether an evaluation feels like the right fit.

02

Intake & Questionnaires

You will complete forms and questionnaires ahead of time so we can begin understanding patterns, history, and areas of concern.

03

Evaluation Session

We spend time exploring your experiences, current challenges, and the ways attention, overwhelm, organization, and follow-through have shown up over time.

04

Feedback & Next Steps

We review what emerged together, discuss recommendations, and talk through what support or accommodations may be helpful moving forward.

You will have space to ask questions, reflect, and process what comes up throughout the experience.

What We Explore Together

We look at how attention, organization, follow-through, emotional overwhelm, and executive functioning challenges may be showing up across different areas of your life.

We also explore overlapping experiences such as anxiety, burnout, masking, sleep difficulties, chronic stress, and the ways years of coping or compensating may have impacted you.

The process may include:

• questionnaires and rating scales

• exploring patterns across different stages of life

• understanding coping strategies and adaptations

• discussion of attention, emotional regulation, and executive functioning

• a collaborative feedback session with recommendations and next steps

Services & Pricing

Many people begin this process unsure whether they even want or need an evaluation yet, and that uncertainty is completely okay.

Not everyone is looking for the same level of support or documentation, so I offer two options depending on what feels most helpful for your needs and goals.

Clinical Summary - $300

  • comprehensive ADHD evaluation
  • review and integration of your information
  • 60-90 minute evaluation session
  • feedback session
  • brief written summary outlining key findings and practical recommendations

This option is often chosen by adults looking for personal clarity, therapy insight, or practical next steps.

Full Evaluation Report - $500

  • comprehensive ADHD evaluation
  • review and integration of your information
  • 60-90 minute evaluation session
  • feedback session
  • detailed written report including history, assessment findings, diagnostic impressions, and individualized recommendations

This option may be helpful for adults wanting more comprehensive documentation to share with schools, workplaces, or other providers.

Payment is due at the time of scheduling in order to reserve your evaluation appointment. A deposit of 50% is required to reserve the appointment, with the remaining balance due on the date of the clinical interview.

If you’re unsure which option fits best, we can talk through it together during a consultation.

Evaluations are available for adults 18+ and offered both in person in San Antonio and via telehealth throughout Texas.

A Few Important Notes

• Evaluations are available for adults age 18 and older

• Sessions are offered in person in San Antonio and virtually throughout Texas

• This is an ADHD-focused evaluation rather than a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment

• I do not prescribe medication, though referrals can be provided when appropriate

• Documentation may support accommodation requests, though approval decisions are determined by the receiving institution or organization

About Bianca

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas under the supervision of Dr. José Luis Valenzuela, LPC-S providing therapy and ADHD evaluations for adults.

My work is shaped by both clinical training and lived experience, and I am especially attentive to how ADHD can show up later in life, particularly in adults who have spent years masking, overcompensating, or feeling misunderstood.

I approach this work with curiosity, care, and the belief that understanding yourself should feel clarifying rather than shaming.

Something can feel hard for a long time before it finally starts making sense.

It does not have to make perfect sense yet.
