You’ve gotten really good at holding it together. But something still feels off. Therapy in San Antonio.

Therapy for anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and the patterns that keep showing up.

You may be used to figuring things out on your own, even when you’re not really sure what’s going on underneath it all. Maybe you’ve spent years wondering whether it’s anxiety, ADHD, past experiences, or something else entirely. Therapy gives you space to slow down, sort through the pieces, and make more sense of your experience.

You might be here if...

You hold it together, but…

You seem to have it handled, but your mind rarely shuts off.

You replay conversations, overthink decisions, or find yourself worrying about how everyone else is doing.

You keep finding yourself in the same patterns.

You know you want things to be different, but somehow you end up in familiar situations, relationships, or reactions.

You understand the pattern, but changing it is another story.

You’re starting to wonder, “Is this just how my brain works?”

Maybe you’ve always felt a little out of sync.

You’re wondering about ADHD, anxiety, or the possibility that there’s more behind the things you’ve struggled with.

Working Together

We start by slowing things down and figuring out what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

A lot of what we look at are patterns. The ones that started early, made sense at the time, and are still showing up now even when they no longer feel helpful. Instead of trying to get rid of them, we get curious about them.

Some sessions are practical. We might focus on coping skills, managing anxiety, or what can help you feel more steady day to day. Other times, we may go deeper into past experiences, childhood trauma, attachment, or the parts of you that had to grow up a certain way to get through.

I use approaches like EMDR, parts work, somatic therapy, and CBT, but I’m not rigid about it. We pay attention to what actually fits you and adjust as we go.

You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what you need. We can figure that out together.

About Lumora Counseling

Lumora Counseling is a space where you can begin to make sense of what has been feeling confusing, heavy, or difficult to put into words.

The name Lumora is rooted in the Latin word lumen, meaning “light.” I chose it because therapy can help bring some clarity to things that have felt difficult to understand or navigate on your own.

This work is not about rushing to fix everything. It’s about slowing down enough to understand what’s happening, where it comes from, and what you want to do differently. Over time, things that once felt tangled or hard to name can start to make a little more sense.
